Take a tasting tour at the Old Market Hall.
Market Square ”(Kauppatori), and the lively, pleasant mini bazaar where you can eat all kinds of food, local seafood, jams made from forest fruits and fruits, near the frozen Baltic sea, in the immediate vicinity of the market, written in 1889 on the hill. There are many similar ones throughout Finland, but this place is really touristy. It is located next to the open market in the port, it is authentic and very pleasant with its architecture and interior decoration. Meat, fish, fruit-vegetables, jams and cheese are sold. It is also possible to eat something on the inside at a reasonable price. Moreover, not only Finnish, but also world cuisine.
I love Finnish market halls and I think the market in Turku may be my favorite. It is a great place to try local products and also has several small cafes and restaurants that make it a comfortable place to take a break on a cold winter day.
When you enter, a different smell may come to your nose.
